FUBAR welcomes cyclists from every walk of life and at every skill level for quad-busting, high intensity charitable endurance rides. We’re an inclusive team that thinks diversity in all its forms is super rad. Since 2015, Team FUBAR has raised $2.6 million+ for charitable rides— primarily AIDS/Lifecycle and the LA LGBT Center. For the last two years (with a  third on the way), I've been the primary designer for FUBAR, designing team kits, clothing, bags, social media graphics, fliers and more.
FUBAR 2023
Team FUBAR's visual identity was always meant to be flexible. With only a wordmark, crossed bandage logomark, and a tagline, the theme of each year's kit is up for interpretation. But if FUBAR is anything it's ragtag, it's rough around the edges, it's a little bit punk. We're inclusive of everyone — as long as you're willing to be a little loud. Year after year, our kits reflect this desire to be a little bit extra. The world has enough soft gradient, corporate-y blue/gray cycling kits.
And just for good measure, why not do two kits a year? Variety is the spice of life!
FUBAR 2024
You're never more aware of different body types than when you're trying to design skin-tight spandex. But beyond just aesthetics, it's important to keep road safety in mind. Bright colors and strong contrast not only keeps the team looking fresh while rolling as a group, but also keeps cyclists visible to the drivers around you.
